A schedule to New York... !


After today?s stage in very nice weather - at least for running, with
overcast and medium temperatures - it was time for the planning of the last
road and running details from Chicago out to New York.

On the stage I had good help from Michael who is himself an experienced
ultra runner (he had participated in an 8-hour race just yesterday and
relaxed with some crewing today :-) and this stage also is the second last
in Illinois and the Chicago area. In two days from now I enter Indiana and
thus can begin the last long stretch of the run: from Chicago to New York
City !

Below I have put the schedule. I am at present working together with Karla
from San-Louis Obispo on getting/renting a car so she can crew the last
long way. But until then there will be a difficult stretch from 18. to
27.August where I much hope to be lucky to find crews that can help with
crewing those stages (its mostly short stages of 4-5 hours of driving ahead
on hwy. 30 by car during the stage with water and supplies). All help is
much
appreciated ! :-)
