Yesterday after the finish I got a phone call through to Denmark and
informed my family about the current, a bit difficult, situation. It made
the task at hand a lot easier to face - learning the solid support I have
from back there :-)
Without that it would have been very tempting to forget about what
remains. But with good support and not wanting to let down all the amazing
friendliness I have met throughout the run; other choices than continuing
isn?t really options !
Note:
By the breakdown of the phone my connection to family and contacts, and
daily posting of reports isn?t possible at present. Documentation is done
by
digital photos by my back-up camera, logbook and witnesses. Thise report is
sent from Winnipeg 12. June.
