I had a very hot day yesterday.

Not so bad during the run, but afterwards the temperature reached 45c in
the tent at late afternoon. Which amongst other things makes the water and
soft drinks real nice and hot and not much of a help.. ;-)

The colder night temperatures first settled late under a sparkling night
sky of stars and a few meteors which I watched with pleasure until it was
cold enough to sleep.

Today?s stage passed through another area with lakes which by this time of
year has become dry salt-lakes instead.

Also the farmlands are beginning to dominate the landscape again - which
has not been the case since Port Augusta, 1700km back.
