Start: 18:11pm. / 15:41 WAT.

+33c, overcast & med. wind at start.
27c, sunset and same at finish.

- Turn ahead!

A truck saluted me as I ran towards a rusty sign declaring the Western end
of the 90mile straight and the first road bend in about 140km.
- A glorious little moment there :-)

Also a nice finish in an orange-purple sunset covering the entire horizon.

But the legs are a bit tired by now, I must admit, after another 60km in
total by the two stints of the day.

PS: The reports from the Nullabor desert are a bit delayed and kept
shorter than usual due to lack of phone and internet connections

- First stage of two for the day. 30km done; 30 to do in the afternoon...

Meantime we take a tour up the road to the "Balladonia Roadhouse" where a
couple of decades ago pieces of the Skylab space-station fell down after
having served its purpose and being put intentionally out of orbit.

A fun de?ja?vue as I remember following that story keenly in the
newspapers so many years ago. (It?s safe to say that I didn?t expect to
see any of the pieces of the wreck myself; and even less to be running
past it. How life surprises you!)
