- Support car trouble, part II!
After the morning stage we drove 312km up to Norseman to have a mechanic
look at the support-car. Peter has had trouble with the starter the last
few days so we decided it was best to have it sorted out instead of
risking to be stuck in the middle of the long stretches between roadhouses!
Both he and the car are having a tuff job keeping the run going: setting
up "water stations" every 5km, fetching water from the nearest roadhouse,
driving me to an accommodation after finish, etc., etc..
Anyways I wont complain to wait until tomorrow to do the next stage ;-)
The 60km a day do take its toll on the legs - especially after 1 year of
running
PS: The reports from the Nullabor desert are a bit delayed and kept
shorter than usual due to lack of phone and internet connections
