- "Team David"!!

Just at the point where the run is getting a bit lonely I am met out on
the road by David Billett and his mother.
- David participated in the Colac 6 day race a month ago! And he has once
before come to help me at difficult times.

That is very welcome company indeed :-)

They plan to crew and run w. me until my "Nullabor Crew", Peter Gray - one
of Australia?s most experienced ultra runners, joins me down the desert
road.

.. This means that they will spend their Christmas out here helping me !!
THANK YOU seems an utterly limited word here!!

23. December running tip:
As ultra running are as much a sport of testing your willpower as your
physical fitness, you may find it quite useful also to train mentally.

Personally I use about equal effort training mentally and physically
before important races.
And obviously the mental- and willpower training was the main element in
preparing for the world run (along with 2 years of detail planning.. ;-)
