A Canadian meeting :-)

After yesterday?s enjoyable barbeque given by the road runners of Port
Augusta, I came to regret my late going to sleep:

I first felt the body was fully rested past 6am, and thus started almost
7:30 - the heat already building up !

To my happy surprise my first semi-desert stage here a few hundred km from
the Nullabor itself proved doable - even pleasant! :-)
Again the dry heat suit me well and the very flat course inspired to a
sub. 6min./km pace :-)

- And the meeting:
Out of the heat-breeze appeared a bicyclists; steadily pedalling on !
It was mr. Hank Westervelt from Vancouver; biking from there!!

My accommodation is at the fata-morgana like Nutbush Retreat. See web
pictures or www.nuttbush.com.au !

21. December tip:
Running clothes.
Wear many thin layers in winter instead of few thick.
Even in desert heat 2 layers can isolate and cool better than one!
