2004.10.29 < Airplane from Hiroshima, Japan to Sydney, Australia. With
stop-owner in Seoul, Korea.>

A long day of travelling - this time not running, though!

I started out 5:30 in the morning from Kazukas home as she and a couple of
other Japanese runners were so friendly as to drive me the more than 2
hours to the airport.

From then on it was 2 hours flight to Seoul International Airport in Korea
- and about 10hours of waiting for the evening connection to Sydney; my
starting place in Australia.

The wait wasn?t as bad as I had expected partly due to a quite fair priced
internet cafe; partly due to some great service in the Seoul airport and a
generally friendly atmosphere!

I finally had a chance to catch up on emails - that is always a hurdle in
the world run as I am naturally moving along for the main part of time.
I had a last check on the Australian plans and could once again see that
my main contact, Phil Essam of the Australian Ultra runner Association,
really has done workloads preparing that my run "down there" will be a
pleasant one :-)

Also there was some media contacts made and reaffirmed as well as some
positive support from my sponsors!

.. Well, finally it was call out for Australian and I started on the
10hour flight that would bring me to Sydney around 8am. next morning.

PS: Did a bit of running exercise in the huge airport building, of
course. Wouldn?t like to come to Australia unprepared ;-)
