Runner company first 5km.
- Again we had runner company by the young sportspeople from yesterday.
They set off with a vigorous sprint which pretty much left us world
runners behind in the horizon.. ;-) But no problem; it was a joy to see
them approaching the running with such joy and energy :-) It could just as
well have been a case a "we have to run this as our
club/teacher/coach/administrator says so" - instead they rushed along
carrying Japanese, Russian and Danish flags. Great sight there !
Of course, as we approach Vladivostock, the 'story' of the world run grows
more interesting and inspiring to the people we meet. Lately the
astonishment has been clearly visible every time we explain just where we
are running from: London, England. Just about on the opposite of the
World :-)
PS: The reports are posted with delay - as the mobile unit for reports to
the website is broken. We expect to reach Vladivostock the 10.October and
there have more extensive reports & comments!
