67km., 6:31h. (Alexander +25min., Kazouka +1:28h.).
Today we had our first real mountain stage with 8 small mountain passings
(about 500m) to run.
We hoped to bring you some great wiews, because these old mountains is
definately more beautifull than we expected .
But that will unfortunately have to wait:-(
Our gprs connection broke within 200m after entering the Chelyabinsk
region, but I really hope that at least some of the pictures came through.
Maybe we will be able to upload our video-stream recordings from Rachenkas
computer - we reach his hometown in 4 or 5 days.
Kazuka took the mountains carefully with foodstops every 10km, while
Alexander and I attacked the snowcovered cliff-passes with much joy (and
crazyness?); finishing about 1,4 hour ahead.
Now we are the guests of the mountain village Cim, with hotel
accomodation, great dinner etc..
We are cared for in every way; and it does the battered legs much good:-)
Tomorrow: higher climbs. but less km.
