27c, half cloudy and same at finish.
A nice stage with even more hills; not very long though, just short and
steep :-) The landscape reminds quite a lot of places and favourite
running
routes where I grew up about 20km North of Copenhagen in the forest and
lake district.
Obviously that bring many thoughts of home which I haven?t seen for almost
2 years now. I will be great to return - and see friends and family again
:-) I have been fortunate to have their support all along the way, along
with the people that I have met in the 14 different countries and 4
different continents I have run. Without their help I would hardly have
lasted more than a couple of months or adapted to almost all kind of
terrain and conditions!
In many ways it has been one of the main positive surprises how much help &
friendship I have encountered throughout this run - and as a political
scientist by education I wonder at the great contrast there is between
this open friendship between plain people from different countries and
cultures as opposed to the conflicts that exists on "high politics" level !
