+17c, overcast and medium wind at start.
16c and same at finish.


A perfect weather for running today :-)

But the opposite could be said about the road: the last 20km the rough
shoulder beside the highway was a gravel pit - making pushing 40kg of
stroller and equipment while still running a bit of a pestilence.. ;-)

Well; good thing was that I got the tent up just in time before a heavy
rain and thunder passed by.

By the way the open prairie which dominated the first 1500km after the
Rocky Mountains is now little by little giving room for patches of green
shrubbery, small lakes and even mini forests (reminds of Western Siberia
actually !). And as the rain ceases outside the tent I can hear almost a
concert of different bird voices.
