Thunderstorm !
Today?s stage was planned to be 45km, but as the horizon turned into a
dark spiral shape I took a quick look at the map and headed for the
nearest town: Virden.
Usually I take rain and storm as part of the challenge of running around
the world, but late yesterday evening there was issued a tornado-warning
in connection to coming thunderstorms - for the South Western Manitoba
which is exactly where I am running now.
So as the sky began to turn into shapes we never see back in Scandinavia,
I decided to let safety go before stupidity and can now enjoy the undoing
of the weather from the motel window and on TV :-)
