Though today?s stage was short (and even downhill) I was quite tired.
Expecting Medicin Hat to begin sooner and almost running out of water 10km
into the stage, didn?t help much.. ;-)
- But what I lacked in strength, or intelligence to stock sufficient up on
supplies two days ago in Brooks, ..was made up for by helpful Canadians !
At 20km a car stopped and they explained that they had learned about the
run on the website :-) Did I need anything? Water? Oh yes, perhaps a bit
!!

As if this wasn?t enough I was met by friends of the planner/advisor of
the Canadian part of the run, Kevin Thomson, just as I was logging the
gps-position at the finish point.
- They insisted on paying for my motel!!
Yes; Canada is in a very positive way changing my North American
experience :-)
Being a bit exhausted I doubt I managed to thank properly for the help
extended to me - but that be done now :-))
