I keep thinking each time that the next day will be easier but there is always a reason why we keep on running just a little bit more and so there we jogged on towards Field some 56,5km down the road. In between again nothing or in other words; pure nature in this National Park. Again on the way there was a car that stopped and curiously asked what two adult men do pushing baby joggers, for heaven sake, on the high way???!!! When explained that there was really no suffocated baby under our luggage they immediately invited us over to their place in Field to stay for the night, and what a place it was, build out of an old railway wagon and completely creatively redecorated with Pauwa shell imbedded in the bathroom floor.. A four week old baby made sure she wasn't forgotten while we were served some good pasta and washed it away with some real Canadian beer. Jesper took the bed and I managed to take Kea's place for the night. (Kea is the Labrador kind dog of the house) It was again a great time in the homely home of Nicky and Mike. Peter |
