+20c, clear sky and light wind at start.
39c and same at finish.
Strong heat and sun toward the end of the run.
Slight hallucination.
Consciousness flooding in and out.

Wrestled with the tent.
Impossible to find shade as the temperature went past 40c. 1 hour to find
ground where the tent pegs could get grip.. too much sand. Made shade of
branches from shrubbery and the rain cover for the tent.
Then a long waiting time for the clock to reach 6pm. where the heat
usually begin to ease off (it didn?t !).
- In the mean-time: steam sauna as they prefer it in Russia (in winter
though..) inside the tent. Outside: roasted runner ;-) At 4pm. the
temp. reached 51c inside the tent.
Took 45min. to make this report, incl. about 35min. of "empty brain due to
overheating" ;-))
Do I like it: ooh yes, nothing like a true challenge.. ;-)
