Total 16.352km. Start: 19:42pm. Finish: 01:02pm. Time GMT + 10:30 hours (NB: South Australian Time!) +22c, clear sky and medium wind at start. 16c, dark and light wind at finish. - The return of mr. Gray ! As you can see from the crew description the overall helper for the major part of the Nullabor desert stages, Peter Gray, has arrived :-) He has drove out here from Geelong near Melbourne - about 1000km of driving!! - after his caravan broke down and John Paw from Ceduna along with his family came out and helped me during some joyful 'family-crew' stages. As mentioned Peter is a very experienced runner himself: former winner of the Colac 6 day race; finisher of a 1000miles race, finisher of the famous Sydney to Melbourne Race etc., etc. ! I am sure he will make the following stages if not easy (considering the terrain and possible weather) then at least successful :-) |
