The desert stages goes on... divided into morning and evening sessions to avoid the midday sunburn. But as you can see the temperature has been very 'cold' compared to the usual summer temperatures out here at around 40 - 45c on the hot days. Actually it right now reminds me more of a good summer day back in Denmark than a desert :-) That is; if there were any trees and lakes to go with the good temperature ;-) As it is, it's at best low shrubbery and sand, gravel and more sand until the desert abruptly ends at the steep limestone cliffs which defines the 40meter dip down to the Southern Ocean coast right next to the desert !
