- Two Laps!

Only a few km after the start I was hailed by a local from the Connawarra
region who asked if I could stop for a chat.

It showed to be Robin Weston who on two occasions have biked around the
world; in 1976 & 80!!
Obviously a lot of knowledge but only times enough to hear the essentials.
Perhaps another meeting on the road?

In a smaller way you might say I had my two laps as well today:

After determining my finish place I did the documentation work and looked
for accommodation.

Small town; = 10 000 populations; easy...

8km later and after having followed a "motel" sign all across city and
partly backtrack, an angry and slightly dehydrated Viking appeared..

It may be the most clean city (see picture), but there is definitely
something left to desire in the sign department ;-))

Well; as it turned out I was finally left with the city centre hotel.
Looking too expensive.
BUT: here I was offered room, hot bathtub (my favourite luxury after the
long road!) and care for the baby jogger, at little more than I paid for
the tent site yesterday.

So as they say: No Worries :-))

6. December tip:
To help relaxing hands & shoulders (see 5.Dec.) you might want to do light
training of the shoulder & neck muscles. 5 min. of contracting - relaxing
the shoulder blades will help :-)
