- The longest stage in the world run this far :-)

( - not counting the 130km run at the 12hour international race in Finland
during a "rest day" there as it don?t count as world run distance). The
detailed report will be delayed as the time goes to find shelter, food and
sleep. The full report will be here in a few days.

A hard stage, but with much beauty to be found in the nature sceneries
beside the road. Long rolling hills, a about 50km long dried out lake, and
lots of kakadoes and other colourful birdlife!

But the traffic is quite strong so I had to keep my eyes on the road most
of the time.

At the finish I had accommodation at a "Nullabor Desert Expert" :-)
- John Paw. He gave me lots of vital information on how I maybe could make
it through the desert and the 45-50C day temperatures. He runs a website
on the desert: www.nullabornet.com
where there is heaps of information to be found. Take a look - stunning
pictures even if you are not going :-)!

I got confirmed the thoughts that I should definitely try to get car
support for those 3 weeks out there in the desert. So that is going to be
my main task until then; besides the run :-)
