- An easy day!
I chose to take a light day to get the legs clear of beginning injury
(running with the 30kg of baby jogger & baggage take a few days to get
used to again); and to try to shake the culture shock of running in Japan !
Taking a shorter stage gave surplus to appreciate the scenery: running
among green rice fields with high mountains in the horizon. The highest
are about 3000m and have a shiny snow coating on the top! A beautiful
sight when running down in the heat of the valleys :-)
A bit of new trouble emerges, though, as my finances begin to run out. I
have a good finance sponsor in Pepper Technologies so that?s not the
problem. The issue is that my visa card can only be used from the terminal
of post offices. Not from usual bankautomats.
So; here goes the fun of asking politely of direction to the post-office.
"Yes, YES!" - Seems to be the standard answer! ;-)
