place >. Tv-crew follow last 10km (J.), police escort last 10km (A.).

Kansk, 11 1/2km before finish. Road-mistake-km not included. Kazuka and
Alexander ran without mistakes :-) >

Finish 14:12pm (J.), 14:32 (K.), 14:53 (A.).
Time: GMT + 7 hours.

+18c, light wind and allmost clear sky at start. 27c, and same at finish.

An interesting stage where we ran through territory that I (J.) doubt we
would have been allowed to run before "Perestrojka" and the system change !

- A few km before the medium sized city Kansk we passed an airbase at
about 20-30m distance from the main road: 4 Mig 33 airplanes stood, with
red star on the double tailwings, waiting for take off ? One of them even
with the airbrake liftet (a small flap on the rear fuselage) indicating
that it had probably just landed.
Military radars, crew and fueltanks just visible behind the hangars and
guarding hills.

Perhaps distracted by this, or occupied with the dilemma of weather the
armed guards would strongly dislike if I made one of our documentation
photos with the base as background - anyhow I managed make a wrong left
turn where the obvious roadchoice was "priama priama" - "forward,
forward" ! And earned myself 3 useless extra km's ;-)

But I got the documentation picture :- > And there is something else
waiting for Guinness... !
