A short time to remember a big effort!
Yesterdays 9. May celebrations and long TV transmissions from the Red
Square was partly interrupted by sudden news that the Thectjenia
administrator had been killed during the 9. May parade in Grosniy.
It filled much of the news, and in a sad way show that wars is far from
over despite celebrations and good words - in Russia, in the Gulf and many
other places where good life could be.
Positive news is that our and helper from Moscow, Edouard Jakoblew of the
Russian Ultramarathon Association, started yesterday from St. Petersburg
on a relay run to Sevastopol.
He and his team expect to be on the road for 1 month and I am sure they
will enjoy their effort :-)
