55km., 5:30h. (I forgot to start the watch after a toilet-break. Approx. +
10min.).
High sun over open fields, police escort, frindly people at roadside; a
good day to be a longdistance runner.
Today we are accomodated in the village Junga which has a population of
about 700 people and serves the surrounding areas and settlements with
local administration, a school and a culture center.
As we arrive in the sunny afternoon and sit down in the mayors offfice we
finally begin to understand that we have come a long way.
Telephones begin to ring, people come in and out of doors; the words
Denmark, Japan, World Run (Birk Vakrog Zimlja) and iss Londona (from
London) - stirrs up the else calm rural ambience.
We are unexpected, but all "sails" are set by the 3 person staff and
smiling mayor.
Outside the birds fly unaffected over the wide, wide fields.
