52km., 5:19h.
Today we had rain for tje first day in our Russian part of the World Run;
quite positive actually, because that means that we the first 3 weeks in
Russia have had fine weather.
And also it could be the first hint of the comming spring:-)
We long for it!!
Enjoyable compagny was also on the "menu" today.
Several met us with presents and "klep sol" and joyned us for the nexts
km's.
Nina from Retov ran 40km. with our team; a strong and gracious runner!
Later she even arranged our accomodation in Parkov.
On the less positive side wee today lost the gps-gsm connection when
exiting the Moscow region of Russia's mobile system (10km. before our
finish).
We first expect to be able to send pictures & update the geo-documentation
in 7 - 15 days.
Untill then we use our "Russian documentation system":
1. Signed reports from stage runners.
2. TV or other media coverage (daily!)
3. Pictures & digital video taken by our driver, Rachenko
4. Signed location certificates by local authorities & sports clubs.
5. Signed police reports on the days when we have police escort.
...And most impotant; the statements from our co-runner from St.Petersburg
to Vladivostok, Kazuka Kaihata from Japan
