- rest day ! (1hour run)
Today was the last of our two rest-days. We visited family and friends and
enjoyed it very much. Some of them we won't see for 1½ year, so there was
much to talk about. Amongst the the friends we visited were the athletic
club that I began training in about 21 years ago in Farum
(Hjerteforeningen i Farum).
We had a 1-hour run with them and exchanged stories. I remember when I
started as a 12 year old boy and tried to keep up with them. They were
35-40 years young. Today they are around 60 years !! How times passes...
It was really on of the high-lights of these rest days to meet them again.
Other high-lights was the meeting with the frieds that was in London with
us at the start 1 month ago. One of them, Soeren, had birthday today, and
we attended the evening celebration and enjoyed an excellent dinner !
Anohter great thing was to see my littlesisters new baby. Only 1 week old;
born the day before we entered Denmark. Perhaps a new ultra-runner in the
beginning....
Well; time to pack our things and prepare for the last stage in Denmark.
