Valparaiso !

As mentioned in the last day?s reports I have tried to time the arrival in
Valparaiso to the 17. where the local running group has their meeting which
they had advised me about well in advance.

- It certainly proved worth it!

I got a very friendly welcome by the owner of the local running store, the
Human Run, who amongst other gave me a new pair of Asics Kayano running
shoes. They came well in hand as the last pairs of my sponsored Asics shoes
might be a bit worn out before New York... Great!

In the evening I had a meeting with a large number of the local runners
which had many marathon runners, Iron men and ultra runners amongst them. A
strong running community there! The media also showed up for an interview
and a photographer and runner took and printed out high-quality photos with
me and the runners to be signed and distributed amongst them. I probably
will never get used to that I am someone who its worth getting an autograph
from; perhaps due to my Scandinavian mentality - I am just running a fair
bit every day and by that happen to be the first making my way around the
world doing it :-)


Tomorrow I will have a group of the runners as company on the stage to
Hanna. Should be enjoyable!
