World Run I / Reports
Distance today: 31.0 km (Accumulated: 2770.0 km)
St.Petersburg - Kolpino.
Finally! We have got our shoes!
It felt GREAT with fresh equiptment and the legs were virtually flying on
this our first night-stage (we spent all day at customs).
Still we ran slowly and carefully - tomorrow we have 65km and depending
what weather brings for us it might be a very difficult day as winter is
far from over...
Together with us on this night-stage we had Konstantin Zavadskij who also
will accompagny us on the last stage into Moscow some 600km later !
In regards to GPS we will have to do without it in all Russia as its
neither allowed nor possible to transmit such things from over here.
So unfortunately we will have to do without.
We will instead use traditonal way of documentation: camera pictures,
reports from local "stage runners", from media and most important from
Kazuka Kaihata (Japan) who runs with us the whole distance from St.
Petersburg to Tokyo.
From Austraila we will again have on-line documentation and pictures, but
the daily reports will be sent all the time of the run - so stay tuned:-)
