We finished in positions 1. & 4. in the international 12 hour race !!
Km 140 and 125.

The race had 21 invited ultrarunners from Finland,Estonia, Japan, Denmark
and Russia.
Among the strong runners were such as Hiroko Okiyma, Janne Kankunsurrja
(top finisher in Trans Europe Footrace 2003), Seppo Lejionen (previous
Spartathlonwinner) and the Estonian runner.
We decided that I (Jesper) would push the pace after 2 hours, and
Alexander after 6 hours.
At 5 hours into the race I was in a narrow lead, but the surprice was that
Alexander was also near top 3.
When he began speeding he went into the lead and kept it throughout the
race, and I could "relax".
The friendship in this race was good and the organicer S. Lejionen has
plans to make it a tradition.
Personally it was a great thing to meet Janne Kankunsurja who I followed
during T.E.F. 2003 via internet.
Alexander made an outstanding race, surprising most runners and brought
honour to our run.
Tomorrow we have a short day of 40 km. and run slow.
